August 2023 Reading Wrap-Up
Reading slowed for me a bit in August, but, to be honest, I didn't mind. So many of the books I read were incredible. In fact, August might be one of my best reading months of the year. Here's my August 2023 Reading Wrap-up featuring my buy/borrow/pass rating!

Starling House

If you're a fantasy/magical realism lover looking for a captivating read with lyrical prose, you won't want to miss this one.
Borrow
The Invisible Hour

While this one may not be for everyone, Hoffman's latest novel absolutely swept me off my feet.
Buy
Canary Girls

Not at all what I hoped it would be. A friendship story that some might enjoy, but it was lost on me.
Pass
Love, Holly

Meh. Of the Emily Stone I've read this is my least favorite. It was enjoyable, but a bit far-fetched with not much romance.
Borrow
Before We Were Innocent

Nope. Toxic friendships and co-dependency are not my cup of tea.
Pass
Before You Go
